1: ASSESS

Your Core Operating Values

Great leadership begins with understanding what truly drives your decisions. Before you take the 60-second assessment, be prepared for a fundamentally different, scientifically grounded approach:

  • Core Values Over Surface Behavior: Most workplace tools measure transient behaviors that fluctuate with stress, role changes, or office politics. Truvtus measures intrinsic operating valuess—the foundational drivers that solidify in early adulthood and remain remarkably stable throughout life.
  • Reality Over Aspiration: Typical assessments measure how people wish to be seen, not how they actually make decisions under pressure.

Grounded in Shalom H. Schwartz’s internationally validated Theory of Basic Human Values, Truvtus bypasses surface-level impressions to reveal durable decision-making drivers —making your profile a dependable predictor of communication gaps, interpersonal friction, and team coherence.

Bypassing the Internal Editor

To eliminate social desirability bias, Truvtus uses an indirect evaluation technique: you do not answer for yourself. Instead, you evaluate each prompt through the lens of the person who knows you best—a long-time closest friend or trusted peer whose unvarnished instincts, reactions, and daily behaviors you know intimately.

As you navigate the seven forced-choice decisions, hold that specific person in mind. For each prompt, ask: “What would they actually do?”

Because our deepest personal relationships form around shared values, answering through their actions reveals the underlying operating values that drive your own decisions.

Why Only 7 Decisions?

Executives and team leads often ask: “How can a one-minute exercise with seven choices provide an accurate diagnostic when enterprise tests take 45 minutes?”

Think of the difference between an uncompressed 50MB RAW image and an email avatar.

To recognize a colleague across digital platforms, you don’t need a heavy file that takes minutes to download. A tiny avatar communicates distinct identity instantly.

ObamaTrumpJust look at these two 3KB avatars. It takes less than a second to know who they are—and to feel the vast difference in the worlds they represent.

Truvtus is designed around that same principle: low bandwidth, high signal. Rather than bogging teams down with 80-question inventories, the Q7 instrument maps your critical coordinates on the Schwartz circumplex in under 60 seconds—delivering actionable clarity without organizational drag.

How to Complete the Q7:

  1. Lock in Your Benchmark: Keep that one trusted person firmly in mind throughout all seven decisions.
  1. Move the Slider: Lean the indicator toward the choice that reflects how they would act.
  2. Decide in Seconds: Do not overthink. Your first instinct contains the purest diagnostic signal.

Once you submit your seventh response, the algorithm calculates your coordinates instantly.

You can complete the assessment as a Guest to view your top-level Values Archetype right away. However, guest profiles are temporary and cannot be retrieved later.

Creating a free Registered Account secures your profile under strict Canadian privacy standards and unlocks the full diagnostic suite:

  • In-Depth Individual Breakdown (Pilot Phase Exclusive): While guests only see a high-level archetype, registered members currently receive a detailed assessment of their specific value coordinates and behavioral drivers.
(Note: This granular individual breakdown is included complimentary during our rollout phase and will transition to a premium feature in future releases).
  • Dimension 2 (Team Coherence via ChekTus): Run private, real-time alignment sessions with up to 10 team members or co-founders. Map aggregate team coherence and pinpoint friction points—with no individual identities or data exposed.
  • Dimension 3 (Environmental Anchor via Truvtus Map): Automatically personalize your Truvtus Map to discover third places aligned with your profile—giving you vetted, review-free environments for offsite strategy, quiet focus, or meeting aligned peers.
